Shipping Policy
Product dispatch time (NOT arrival time) is between 5-7 WORKING days AFTER you place your order, depending on your shipping address location. For example, if you order on a Monday, regardless of the time ordered, your order dispatch timeline starts the next working day, being a Tuesday. If your order is then only dispatched by the following week Wednesday, it is on the 7th working day and therefore still considered on time, as per the 5-7 working day dispatch timeline. We have a long dispatch timeline as we do not want to give customers the impression that orders will be sent out quicker when they won't. As we grow, we aim to decrease this timeline dramatically in 2026.
If your order is delayed past the above, for whatever reason, we will be sure to notify you of such via email.
If you need your order to arrive before a specific day, please contact us on info@sandcandle.co.za PRIOR to ordering and leave an order note. We'll do our best to accommodate your request if possible. Please do not order on a Monday afternoon and then leave it until the last minute to notify us on the Thursday morning that you need the order by Friday, as sometimes there are unfortunately delays and if you don't notify us before you order of any time sensitivities around your order, we cannot be held liable for any inconvenience caused, as we are still under our 5-7 working day policy.
We are not responsible for any delay once dispatched and can only advise customers of the timescales given by the couriers.
Delivery charge is a flat rate, being:
R150 for economy to your door from The Courier Guy nationwide.
R69 for Pudo (locker-to-locker) which gets sent to a Pudo locker for you to collect.
Orders will be sent to the delivery address that you specify when you order. We cannot take responsibility if this address is incorrect. If you notice, that wrong address was entered, please notify us as as soon as possible by sending us an email to info@sandcandle.co.za. No changes can be made after the order has been dispatched.
